Regardless, the leaves are carefully harvested to minimize any oxidation that may occur. Then the second part is the additional of green tea in the diet that will aid in reducing any fatty calories from being absorbed into the system by the occasional dining on a less than healthy cuisine. The amount of green tea that an individual should drink to obtain the best results is unique for each person. That is to say, there are different studies being conducted without any authoritive conclusion. The laboratory studies have quantifiably proven that with the addition of green tea to a daily diet fewer fats are absorbed into the system, which in turn slow weight gain.
That being said, a key issue to better health is to start a daily habit of drinking green tea. It is important to stay hydrated for our systems to process our food in an efficient manner and the tea will be an integral part of this necessity. There is no evidence that suggests a person can drink too much green tea. After all it is a solution composed of mostly water.
